Laura’s writing has been published in Salon, Racialicious, Numero Cinq Magazine, the Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Boston Phoenix, as well as Broadsheet in Madrid, Spain and other international publications. She is a contributing writer to Numero Cinq Magazine and an assistant fiction editor at Upstreet Magazine. In addition to novels, stories and essays, Laura also writes screenplays and the occasional poem. Laura teaches academic writing at the Berklee College of Music, Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is a graduate of the Creative Writing Program at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.


Bobby Dennis

Bobby DennisBobby attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and graduated with a history degree. While at Simpson, he became heavily involved in sexual assault survivor advocacy and prevention. He currently works as an advocate at ACCESS in Ames, Iowa where he focuses on supporting male victims. Additionally, Bobby is currently the chair of the Iowa Men’s Action Network, a group focused on preventing violence in our state through male-engagement.
